Bret Hackett
President & Founder
Healthy Home Co. is the product of Bret’s vision and hard work. As an experienced General Contractor, Bret is responsible for an impressive portfolio of projects both in the basin and also in Southern California. From design to build, Bret has a knack for high-quality detail, craftsmanship, and problem solving. Over the years he has molded a company culture that truly reflects the Lake Tahoe Lifestyle. When he’s not working, you can find Bret mountain biking or back country skiing with his friends and family.
Dave Young
Superintendent
Dave has been in the construction industry since 1997, with experience spanning Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe. Known for finding creative solutions to complex building challenges, he brings a unique touch to every project. In his free time, Dave enjoys fishing, brewing, and copper smithing.
Cory has been working in carpentry for about 25 years, having grown up in the trade. He loves bringing homes to life from start to finish with his craftsmanship. In his free time, Cory enjoys riding dirt bikes and mountain bikes, blending his passion for adventure with his dedication to building.
Briette Snook leads the design team at Healthy Home with a passion for authentic architecture and green building. After graduating with a B.A. of Architecture from the University of Southern California she went on to work for award winning design firms in landscape design, architecture and planning, and custom residential interior and architecture design. Through her experience she has developed an ideal of designing for how people really live and work, not for how they should.

Britt Stanhope
Britt, our office manager, brings nearly a decade of experience to the team. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring with her dog, riding her bike in the summer, and teaching yoga. A self-taught silversmith, Britt has sold her custom jewelry pieces worldwide, showcasing her creativity and passion for craftsmanship.

Rogelio has 7 years of experience in the trades, bringing energy and skill to every project. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing soccer, fishing, and indulging in his unique favorite snack—ice cream with fries!

Drew brings over a decade of experience in residential, multifamily, and commercial development. With a strong commitment to high-quality design and expert craftsmanship, he specializes in project management with a focus on green building practices and sustainable solutions. Recently relocated from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe, Drew enjoys spending time outdoors and is a devoted golden retriever enthusiast.

Skyler has been in the trades for years and has a passion for framing, as it showcases the fastest progress on a build. In his free time, Skyler enjoys huntin, BBQing, and solving all kinds of puzzles. His love for problem-solving and hands-on work makes him a skilled and focused member of the team.
